I terbuat extra white sauce. Anyah suruh letak some on the top. Tasted even better!
Alhamdulillah, it was a hit at home. Maybe next time I'll substitute the lasagna sheets with macaroni and top it with mashed potato and lotss of cheese.
The recipe was originally from a cooking class at my office. However, I've changed here and there according to whatever I have in my mom's pantry. Here's the recipe; copied from the original recipe.
Lazzy Lasagna
Bahan-Bahan
1 kotak lasagna - pre cook
Sos Merah
Bahan-Bahan
3 ulas bawang putih - dicincang
2 labu bawang besar - dicincang
3 biji tomato (saiz besar) - direndam dlm air panas dan dicincang
1 tin kecil tomato paste
4 sudu makan sos tomate (my mom didn't have any - suprisingly! I add in half bottle of prego sauce)
1 batang lobak merah - dipotong kiub/cincang
2 batang celery - dipotong kiub/cincang
1 biji capsicum - dipotong kiub kasar
250 g daging cincang (i used 500g)
oregano secukupnya
air/stok daging jika perlu
minyak zaitun secukupnya
garam secukup rasa
Cara-Cara
1. Panaskan kuali, masukkan minyak zaitun
2. Tumiskan bawang putih dan bawang besar
3. Masukkan semua jenis tomato dan sayuran
4. Masukkan daging, oregano dan garam
5. Biarkan didih dan sehingga masak. Pastikan tidak terlalu lama kering. Ketepikan.
Sos Putih (Bechamel Sauce)
Bahan-Bahan
125 g butter
2 sudu besar minyak zaitun
3 1/2 sudu besar tepung
1 tin cendawan butang - dihiris
1 kiub stok daging ( i don't have it; i used stok daging instead)
1 liter susu segar segar (dipanaskan/suam)
100 g keju mozarella
Cara-Cara
1. Panaskan pan. Masukkan minyak zaitun dan cairkan bersama butter
2. Masukkan keju mozarella
3. Masukkan susu panas dan kiub stok. Kacau hingga pekat dan masukkan cendawan. Biarkan 5 minit dan ketepikan.
Tips: I soak the lasagna sheets in hot water for about 5 minutes first. Hasilnya, lasagna yang lembut!
